Personal Details
Dr. Yuen graduated from the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Science, State University of New York at Buffalo with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2008. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts (Amherst), which he obtained in 2020. From 2008 to 2022, he worked as a Clinical Pharmacist at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he covered various clinical areas, including critical care units, the emergency department, and acute care areas. In 2022, he transitioned into a patient safety and quality role at the hospital’s Center of Quality and Patient Safety, focusing specifically on inpatient fall reduction and Cancer Center quality. In addition to his roles at UMass Memorial Medical Center, Dr. Yuen served as a per diem pharmacist, first at South Shore Hospital and then at Marlborough Hospital in Massachusetts. Before joining the School of Pharmacy at CUHK, he worked at the Quality Assurance Department of Jacobson Group Management Limited in Hong Kong.
