We believe that personalized medicine is an important and rapidly developing area, which is already impinging on clinical practice and is receiving increasing attention from pharmaceutical companies and regulatory authorities. The Organizing Committee has invited prestigious international and local experts to speak at this meeting, and we believe this will be an important venue to propagate the concepts of personalized medicine and pharmacogenetics in Hong Kong. There will be sessions on the most important areas where pharmacogenetics and pharmacogenomics are already impacting, including psychiatry, neurology, endocrinology, oncology and cardiology.
