International BioCamp 2008 aims at offering young and dynamic students an excellent opportunity to become acquainted with the challenges and opportunities in the real biotechnology world. HK tertiary institutions, initiated by the School of Pharmacy at CUHK, join hands with Norvartis and HK Science and Technology Parks Corporation to introduce International BioCamp 2008 to 20 local and 25 overseas postgraduate students in science or business-related disciplines. The students will attend a 4-day-3-night intensive workshop in HK from 24 to 27 October 2008 to learn about how synergy works in the biotechnology industry. They will be accomplished through lectures by world-class scientists, successful businessmen and through teamwork on a case study about a real life biotechnology challenge with panel members in the respective disciplines as facilitators.
