Associate Professor (Pharmacokinetics) |

Applicants should have (i) a PhD, a PharmD or an MD degree in pharmaceutical or biomedical sciences; and (ii) postdoctoral training and/or research experience in basic and clinical pharmacokinetic studies. The appointee will (a) participate in teaching at postgraduate and professional levels; and (b) develop an outstanding independent research programme bridging basic research in modern drug design and delivery, as well as clinical research in oncology, diabetes, digestive disease and infectious disease. Collaborative research with other institutions will be encouraged. Appointment will normally be made on contract basis for two to three years initially commencing as soon as possible, leading to longer-term appointment or substantiation later subject to mutual agreement. Monthly Salary and Fringe Benefits |
Salary will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Applicants should have (i) a Master degree in pharmacy or clinical pharmacy, preferably also a PharmD degree; (ii) a certificate of registration; (iii) a valid Practising Certificate or eligibility for licensure with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Hong Kong; and (iv) at least three years' post-registration experience. Duties include (a) didactic and experiential teaching for the Master of Clinical Pharmacy programme and BPharm programme; and (b) assistance in the development of innovative programmes and clinical services for the community. Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to three years, renewable subject to mutual agreement. |
