- For a full time undergraduate Pharmacy student who has written the best short essay related to infectious diseases. This may be an academic review paper, a commentary or a personal account of experience related to infectious diseases.
- If no essay of sufficient merit is received in any year, the prize shall not be awarded.
- Other important criteria to be considered are: academic performance, voluntary services for the community and other extra curricular activities.
- The essay must be the author¡¦s own work without assistance from others, and written for the sole subject of submission for the prize.
- Work undertaken to meet curriculum requirements or for other purpose is not acceptable
- The author is also required to declare whether the essay has been submitted for other competitions. Papers that have already been awarded any prize/award will not be considered.
