Certificate Courses in Pharmacotherapy
Program Objectives
  • To provide pharmacists with knowledge and skills to address therapy-related issues in various diseases and patient populations.
Programme Design
  • A part-time short course program.
  • Provides the flexibility for one to select courses suited for individual interest.
  • Students will learn from teachers from the School of Pharmacy, as well as expert physicians & other healthcare professionals from local practice.
  • Learning activities include lectures, case studies and seminars.
Content Coverage
The course content will mainly focus on drug-related and patient care issues. Wherever applicable, the content coverage would include the following:
  • Drug treatment options
  • Disease management guidelines
  • Therapy selection, counseling and monitoring
Study Scheme
  • Students with 75% attendance will be issued a Certificate of Attendance for the specific course completed.
Admissions
Entrance Requirement
  • Applicants must have a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree.
